What electrical parameters are usually specified Contact resistance (or interface resistance) This is the resistance measured at the mated interface between the terminal and the corresponding connector/contact. The acceptance criterion is usually a maximum contact resistance value (e.g., š max ā” R max ā at a defined test current and temperature), and sometimes also a limit on change after aging/reliability tests. Conductor electrical continuity / resistance For applications that require confirmation of no open circuit, we verify continuity (pass/fail) and/or total resistance of the conductor path within a specified limit. Stability after tests (if required) Depending on your customer spec, electrical metrics must remain within limits after thermal cycling, vibration/shock, humidity/corrosion aging, and/or mating cycles.
