1.Connection Method: Clamp-and-Crimp or Plate Clamping?
This product utilizes a stud-based connection method, the underlying mechanism of which is as follows:A reliable clamping force is applied to the conductive contact surfaces via studs, thereby establishing stable electrical contact between the copper busbars (or conductive components) within the clamped region.
To ensure contact reliability and long-term stability under conditions of 48V DC and 600A, it is generally recommended to adhere to the following requirements:
(1) Washer Configuration
It is recommended to use the washers specified by us: [Flat Washer / Plated Washer / Insulating Washer (if applicable) / Spring Washer or Lock Washer (if applicable)].
The washer specifications—including [Material / Surface Finish / Inner & Outer Diameter / Thickness]—are designed to fulfill the following objectives:
Ensure uniform force distribution;
Control the clamping conditions at the contact interface;
Maintain the long-term stability of contact impedance.
The use of generic washers that do not match the specified parameters is not recommended (as this may result in insufficient clamping force, uneven contact, or reduced anti-loosening effectiveness).
(2) Conductive Grease / Lubricating Medium (If Applicable)
If our assembly procedures require the use of conductive grease, please use the specified product—[Brand / Model or Type: Silver-based Conductive Grease / Copper-based Conductive Grease / High-temperature Conductive Grease, etc.]—and carefully control the application quantity.
If our product features a “pre-treated contact surface” or if “grease application is not recommended,” it is explicitly stated that conductive grease is not required; in such cases, simply clean the surface and proceed with installation.
(3) Surface Treatment / Cleaning Requirements
Prior to assembly, it is recommended to perform the following procedures on the contact surfaces:
Remove oxide layers and contaminants (such as oil stains, dust, etc.);
Ensure the contact surfaces remain clean and dry;
If specific surface pre-treatment steps are designated by us (e.g., specific sanding grades, cleaning agents, or surface protection methods), please execute them in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Regarding Contact Surface Material / Plating Compatibility: Please select the corresponding busbar or terminal materials as specified in the assembly instructions to avoid the risks of poor contact or electrochemical corrosion caused by incompatible plating materials.
